Anoka County Master Gardener Plant Sale

  • When: Tuesday, May 14, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A 50% off last-chance sale will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Where: Anoka County Fairgrounds, 3200 St. Francis Blvd NW.
  • What: Hundreds of native flowers and plants, sun and shade perennials, vegetables, pollinator plants and more.

Burnsville Annual Spring Native Plant Market

  • When: Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Where: Parking lot of City Hall, 100 Civic Center Parkway.
  • What: A wide variety of native plants are being sold by multiple vendors.

Dakota County Master Gardener Plant Sale

  • When: Saturday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to noon.
  • Where: Whitetail Woods Regional Park, Empire Shelter, 17100 Station Trail, Farmington, MN.
  • What: A wide variety of sun and shade perennials, natives, and woodland plants, grasses, groundcovers, and other landscape plants, along with herb and veggie plants too.

Daylily Society of Minnesota – Daylily Sale

  • When: Sunday, June 2, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Where: Bachman’s – Heritage Room, 6010 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis.
  • What: Many wonderful cultivars of daylilies in different colors and forms at great prices.

Friends School Plant Sale

  • When: Friday-Sunday, May 10-12 (Mother’s Day Weekend).
  • Where: Minnesota State Fair Grandstand, Falcon Heights, MN.
  • What: One of the largest plant sales in the country, which raises money for the Friends School of Minnesota, a Quaker school located in Hamline-Murray.

Garden Club of Ramsey County’s Great Plant Sale

  • When: Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m.–noon.
  • Where: St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1807 Field Ave, St. Paul, MN 55116
  • What: Varieties of tomato plants, house plants, curly willow branches, red twig dogwood branches, container planters, seed kits, and shrubs from Bailey’s Nursery.

Hennepin County Master Gardener Plant Sale

  • When: Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Where: Hopkins Pavilion, 11000 Excelsior Blvd, Hopkins 55343.
  • What: Over 22,000 plants on offer – 25% more than last year – from more than 625 varieties. Including a “large selection” of pollinator-friendly plants.

Hennepin Technical College Annual Plant Sale

  • When: Tuesday-Thursday, May 7-9, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Where: Hennepin Technical College Greenhouse, 9000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park.
  • What: “Colorful annuals, hearty perennials, tons of tomatoes and veggies, and aromatic herbs!” There will also be hanging baskets, flowering containers, and geraniums on sale.

Lake Country School Plant Sale

  • When: Thursday and Friday, May 9 and 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Where: Lake Country School, 3755 Pleasant Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55409
  • What: Choose from various vegetables, herbs, and flowers grown organically at the Lake Country School Land School, our 160-acre farm school in Dunn County, WI. LCS students and staff grow Land School plants from seed to harvest throughout the year. Native perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, and pollinator packs are also available.

Lakeville Area Garden Club Plant Sale

  • When: Friday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: 9975 194th Street West, Lakeville, MN 55044.
  • What: Hundreds of plants including house plants, annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, pots, trellises, and more.

Landscape Arboretum Plant Sale

  • When: Friday and Saturday, May 10-11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Farm at the Arb, 3210 W. 82nd St., Chaska.
  • What: Selected by Minnesota Landscape Arboretum horticultural experts, it features annuals, perennials, fruits, vegetables, herbs, lilies, roses, hostas, Minnesota natives and trees. “New features this year include a category of Zone 5 plants for the ‘Adventurous Gardener;’ plants for rock garden; expanded selection of U of M introductions; peonies from multiple vendors; and a new Minnesota grower of hardy mums.”

Lake Owasso Garden Club Plant Sale

  • When: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.
  • Where: 824 County Rd B2, Roseville.
  • What: A variety of annuals, perennials that are handpicked from local greenhouses. 

Men & Women’s Garden Club of Minneapolis Plant Sale

  • When: Tuesday, May 14, 12–6:30 p.m.
  • Where: St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church, 3450 Irving Ave. S., Minneapolis.
  • What: The sale promises “high-quality new and unusual annuals and perennial plants” not typically found at nurseries. A full list can be found here.

Northern Lights Plant Sale

  • When: May 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: St. Paul School of Northern Lights, 768 Hamline Ave. S., St. Paul.
  • What: Annuals, perennials, MN natives, vegetables and herbs, hanging baskets, and a Makers Market, described as “a perfect place to pick up a Mother’s Day gift as well as activity tables for kids.”

Picha Farms Plant Sale

  • When: May 8-19, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Ramsey County Master Gardeners Plant Sale

  • When: Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
