Community gardening in the heart of downtown Minneapolis
On Wednesdays Elliot Park distributes food/supplies and our produce (once harvest begins) to our neighbors at Elliot Park. Timing is generally from 8:30 – 11:30/12pm. If signing up for this task please make sure that you can be there for at least the first 2 hours for set-up and the initial rush.
Even though our produce isn’t ready for several months, the still need help with other food donations that Jericho Road supplies. So volunteering for this can start anytime! Currently it is only every other Wednesday (1st, 3rd & 5th of the month) – but will switch to weekly in summer.
We will be looking for at least 2 volunteers at each shift. Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate with team on schedule/dates.
